**** Updated!! ****
While the primary photos for each season have been chosen, expect a few "honorable mentions" to find a place in our calendar too!
*****
OK - we have some tough choices to make, folks! We've narrowed down the photos to your favorites, and now we need to narrow it down even more.
We need you to vote for your 3 favorites for each season.
You can click on the photos if you'd like to see a larger image.
Keep in mind:
- We need variety! While hens with their chicks are adorable, we don't want to feature them every month. Perhaps one hen with chicks picture per season (Possibly 2 for Spring).
- Look for photos you would want to look at for 30 days at a time.
- Look for photo quality. The better quality the shot, the better it will look on your wall.
- It's not a popularity contest - so be honest with your choices. This calendar is for ALL chicken lovers!

If you feel we have miscategorized any of the photos, please leave us a comment. It's not easy going through so many beautiful photos!
I'm so thrilled one of my photos made it to the spring finals list - woohoo! :)
ReplyDeleteAnd doing quite well, too!

wow, they are all winners!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to buy calendars!
ReplyDeletegrats to the winners! but it just occurred to me, I think we have a father daughter winning team! LOL Is she a Weeble baby Leigh (first pic)?
ReplyDeleteActually while you hatched her, she's the Silkie X Cochin - and a great mamma! She's Mills' daughter. I *think* the only Weebs babies I have are the black pullet and the blue pullet with the defective tail that you gave me. (Looking forward to some blue eggs!!) I also have the Dorking X EE that is probably not a Weebs baby - and she's still brooding her very large, independent chicks... I wish she'd start laying again, for heaven's sake! LOL!
DeleteYay! I'm so excited my photo was chosen for the calendar! Big thanks to all of you who voted for me! How do we go about ordering the calendar when it's ready?

We will be posting updates and links when the calendar is ready for purchase, so keep checking back. It won't be long :-) We are looking at using 2 different companies for publishing - one has a less expensive option and the other *should* make the calendar available internationally for our friends in Canada, UK, Australia and elsewhere. We'll post details when we have them!
